iPhone 14 Pro and Apple Watch Ultra have been on the market for a good six months. With Dynamic Island, always-on display, 48-megapixel camera and satellite radio, Apple’s current flagship model clearly sets itself apart from its predecessors. The Watch Ultra is also clearly different from all other Apple watches in terms of design and is particularly aimed at outdoor athletes.
In episode 44 of the Mac & i Apple podcast, Malte Kirchner and Leo Becker, in conversation with their colleague Sebastian Trepesch, draw an interim conclusion with the findings from the long-term use of the iPhone 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max and Apple Watch Ultra. It is primarily about which of the innovations have proven to be really useful in everyday life, which are more of a gimmick and where Apple should improve. A look at the iPhone 15 is also not missing – as well as regrets about the end of the compact iPhone mini model series.
Other topics include Apple’s new rapid security measures, as well as reports of internal turmoil over Siri’s evolution.
