In the event of an IT infrastructure being compromised, one thing is of paramount importance: how well prepared are companies? IT managers and admins are particularly challenged here and have to track down the weak points of the IT system, create the necessary critical awareness among the workforce and ensure information security even as digitization progresses.
Prevention, testing and acute measures
Together with Rheinwerk, the heise Academy presents the new webinar series “IT Security 2023 – Prevention, Current Measures and Testing”. The series includes five webinars with a total of 20 hours of expert knowledge on key aspects of IT security. From penetration tests and incident readiness to security awareness and questions of IT law and data protection to the protection of IoT devices (embedded security), effective measures to prevent cybercrime are presented. In this way, security gaps can be closed and the risks of production downtime and reputational damage reduced in the future.

The webinars have a duration of four hours each and take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participation in a webinar appointment costs 169 euros (all prices include VAT). If you want to book all five dates at once, you can either save a lot with the combination ticket for 595 euros or get unlimited access to over 100 video courses and over 90 webinars per year with the annual subscription to the heise Academy for 495 euros.
