Several videos for highly anticipated video games: Nintendo has released a third trailer for its upcoming switch role-playing game “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom”. The video shows gameplay scenes and contains numerous references to possible story elements.

Some fans are even hoping to play as Zelda himself based on the trailer. Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s set to launch on May 12 exclusively for Nintendo’s Switch console. Nintendo is not only making headlines with promotional videos: it was recently announced that the Japanese company would like to take legal action to force the Discord chat platform to reveal the identity of a Zelda leaker.

There was a lot more to see for fans of the “Final Fantasy” series. As part of a Playstation live stream, the Square Enix developers showed a comprehensive gameplay demo of “Final Fantasy XVI”, which consists of 25 minutes of game scenes. A developer comment accompanies the video with informative additional information.

Finally, Electronic Arts has released a trailer for its upcoming action game Immortals of Aveum. The video includes pre-rendered scenes, but also shows short gameplay snippets in between. It’s a shooter where magic systems replace guns.

“Immortals of Aveum” is being developed by the previously unknown Ascendant Studios. According to EA, the studio includes experienced developers, but the publisher does not reveal any further details. The action game is scheduled for release on June 20 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
