2023 USFL odds: Title lines for every team; Stallions, Generals co-favorites

Two of the top USFL teams from last season will battle in a season-opening game on Saturday as the spring football league enters its second season.

The marquee matchup between division champions — the Birmingham Stallions (South Division) and the New Jersey Generals (North Division) — will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama. The game will be broadcast on FOX. In addition to looking ahead to this thrilling game, we will take a closer look at the title odds for each time before the season kicks off.

The teams met in Week 1 last season, with the Stallions posting a 28-24 victory. Birmingham started the season with eight straight victories.

The Generals shook off the loss and rattled off nine straight wins to finish the regular season.

Saturday’s first game will have the Philadelphia Stars (6-4 in regular season) playing at the Memphis Showboats at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX. The Showboats are replacing the Tampa Bay Bandits (4-6, third in South Division in 2022).

Week 1 wraps up on Sunday with the Michigan Panthers and Houston Gamblers playing in Memphis and the Pittsburgh Maulers playing the New Orleans Breakers in Birmingham. 

The USFL Championship Game is set for July 1 in Canton, Ohio.
